More realistic, more predictive, more effective

When it comes to assessing talent…

The best companies are full of different personalities. So personality tests don’t work.

The best people come from diverse backgrounds. So resumes don’t work.

How we behave depends on the environment we’re in. So generic assessments don’t work.

Realistic Job Assessments create a more accurate representation of how well a candidate will fit into your role and organisation.

Make edits, see results

You’ve probably found that most assessment providers won’t let you change what you measure, what questions you ask or how scores are calculated. We think that’s crazy.

Jobs evolve, assessments should do the same. We work with you to ensure your assessments reflect current role realities and hiring criteria.

We use data analytics to improve the predictive powers of your assessments to help you achieve your hiring goals.

A better and fairer way to hire

Not only does using RJAs reduce new hire staff turnover, it’s fairer too.

The problem with traditional CV-based hiring is that we make judgements based on past experience and not present ability, or even future potential.

Realistic Job Assessments only measure job-relevant skills, knowledge and behaviour for a fairer assessment of what someone would do today, not what they did yesterday.

“The whole thing was flawless and has worked perfectly from day one. Not only has it reduced new hire failures it’s cutting hours a week of admin time out of the recruiters lives.”

Kelly Davis
Senior Recruitment Manager, Cote Restaurants

Together we can raise the bar in recruitment

Raising the bar means hiring with insight, interviewing with consistency, and assessing with authenticity. It’s transparent hiring with nothing to hide. It says what it means and is what it claims to be. Just like us.

FAQs

How long does it take to create an assessment?

This will depend on your specific requirements, however, the process typically takes between 4-6 weeks from sign-off to go live.

Will this integrate with our ATS?

Yes! We are integrated with most major ATS software – and if we’re not already integrated with yours then we’ll integrate for you.

Is our data secure?

Yes, data privacy is really important to us. All our data is stored in the cloud on servers that are ISO 27001, SOC 1 Type II, and PCI-DSS accredited.

We also comply with all the relevant data regulations including GDPR.

How much does it cost?

We’re proud to have a fair and honest pricing method which is tailored to you – visit our pricing page for more details.

How much work do we have to do?

We promise not to overburden you with to-dos.

Our information capture process is easy to follow and can be handled by you directly or facilitated by one of our Assessment Creation Experts.

In both cases, we will request sign-off from you ahead of going live.

Once we’re live we conduct regular review sessions where we both explore changes to improve the performance of the assessment over time.

How long do your assessments take?

This is flexible – we’ll work with you to understand what’s right for your needs. As a general rule of thumb, we like to keep assessments under 15-20 minutes to ensure maximum candidate engagement.

How are your assessments validated?

We test and validate all assessments in the creation process. Our team can take you through this process in more detail. You can book some time in their diary here.

What’s the business case for using assessments?

Ultimately this depends on your goals, but most of the time ROI is delivered through either a reduction in new hire failures, quicker time to hire or improved new hire performance.

Our cost of failed hires calculator and candidate screening time calculator can help or feel free to contact us for further exploration.

Is this available in my language?

Yes. We work with translators and for a small additional charge you can have your assessment created and supported in any language you like. We’re happy to discuss multi-lingual assessments too.

Do you do gamified assessments?

No. It’s unlikely the way someone plays a game will predict how someone will behave in the actual job (unless that job involves playing that same game of course).

So while our assessments are fun and engaging to complete they serve a more important purpose in informing candidates what daily life is really like in the role. Our research shows that 96% of candidates actually prefer this approach.
